Real estate developer Hanner has inked a partnership with a restaurant operator that will join the Fosta Fabrică mixed-use project, located near the Gara de Nord railway station in Bucharest. The company will invest over €40 million in the complex project, which includes the restoration and conversion of four monument buildings.

“The majority of the buildings will remain in our property and we will develop one of the largest local entrepreneurial communities in the field of hospitality,” says Mindaugas Valuckas, Founder of Fosta Fabrică.

In one of the restored buildings, Kane Group will open a restaurant with brewery and a café. Fosta Fabrică will have office spaces, lofts, apartments and facilities such as cultural and co-working spaces. The mixed-use scheme is developed on the grounds of the former Luther brewery, which was founded in 1869.
