Greenberg Traurig advised Madison International Realty, the majority shareholder of Capital Park S.A., on the sale of certain assets of the group as part of a management buy-out co-financed by Europi Property Group, Capital Park’s minority shareholder.


As a result of the transaction, Madison will continue to control the companies that own the Norblin Factory and Royal Wilanów in a joint venture with the managers and Europi Property Group. Greenberg Traurig also previously advised Madison on the delisting of Capital Park from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The transaction was led by Local Partner Kamil Majewski, who was supported by Associate Jakub Gajzler and Junior Associate Maciej Smaczyński. Corporate and regulatory matters were supervised by Partner Rafał Sieński and coordinated by Senior Associate Grzegorz Socha who was supported by Junior Associates Szymon Świerszcz and Kamil Nagawski. Advice on the financing aspects of the transaction was provided by Senior Associate Iga Czerniak and Associate Natalia Skomorowska. Senior Associate Agnieszka Gul-Czajkowska advised on transactional insurance matters. Strategic advice was also provided by Partner Anna Hałas-Krawczyk and Local Partner Paulina Kimla-Kaczorowska.

Deputy Managing Partner Radomił Charzyński supervised all work on the transaction.

Madison focuses on capital partner replacements, equity monetizations and recapitalizations of class A properties and portfolios located throughout the US, UK and Western Europe and investments in public/private companies owning similar quality properties. Since its inception, Madison has raised over $8 billion in capital commitments from more than 175 institutional investors globally.

New appointments

  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
