Digital Park II in Bratislava from the Alto Real Estate portfolio has defended the highest rating for environmentally sustainable operation.

The Digital Park II office building achieved the highest level of sustainability certification, LEED Platinum v4.1, in the Operations & Maintenance: Existing Buildings version, awarded by the international organisation GBCI. In the certification process, points are awarded for energy efficiency based on energy consumption or emissions measured during the actual operation of the building.

Digital Park II acquired the certificate in 2016 as the first building in Slovakia and one of the first in Europe. In the current rating, it received 84 out of 100 points, placing it among the top sustainable buildings in Central Europe. The office complex received confirmation of the completion of the certification process in June.

"We view Digital Park as a long-term investment that is intended to be a model of sustainable building management. The renewal of the highest level LEED Platinum certificate is a confirmation of our philosophy of combining architectural quality, high standards of operation and environmental responsibility," says Ján Bryndza, sales director at Alto Real Estate.
