Miroslav Barnas, MRICSCEO Czech Republic and Slovakia, Head of Capital Markets, JLL
Miroslav is a real estate professional with over ten year experience with commercial and residential properties. His main focus is advising tenants and landlords, sellers and buyers on the leasing, acquisition, disposals and development of commercial and residential space in the CEE region. For the past 10 years he was also responsible for development, management and driving forward the business of JLL in Slovakia. In January 2017, Miroslav was appointed to lead JLL´s business in the Czech Republic alongside his existing responsibilities as country manager for JLL Slovakia. Today he oversees the team of more than 110 real estate professionals in both the Czech and Slovak republics. Besides the managing responsibilities he heads the Capital Market team - the most experienced Capital Market team in the Slovak and the Czech market. He is responsible for ensuring that a best practice, client care, proactive communication and appropriate technical knowledge is provided by all team members. By market he is perceived as an ambassador of ethical approach and transparent dealing. Miroslav is a qualified surveyor and member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

TriGranit developed more than 1 million sqm commercial projects including 430 000 sqm GBA office developments. Sarolta was previously an associate for Cushman and Wakefield. She has a Bachelor's degree in Information studies, and she is the Member of the RICS Hungarian Board.

Marián Fridrich is a real estate professional currently in charge of investment and divestment activities across CEE as well as debt financing for real estate funds managed by IAD and its subsidiary. Before joining IAD in 2015, Marián held a position of Senior Real Estate Lending manager for Tatra banka (member of Raiffeisen group) structuring senior and mezzanine deals for various investment and development projects across all asset classes. His career started in Cushman Wakefield´s Prague office as a retail consultant, later he helped to open Cushman´s Slovak office in 2008 whilst performing leasing of several major retail projects developed at that time in Slovakia.

Mr. Tomasz Jędruszak has over 11 years of experience in Real Estate and currently serves as an Acquisition Associate at TriGranit, where he is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities. He has extensive experience across CEE countries within the office, retail, residential and logistics sectors. Tomasz served as Transaction Manager at Pinnacle, as an Analyst at Valad (Now Cromwell Property Group) and Heitman in Warsaw, where he was responsible for financial analysis and sourcing new opportunities. Prior to that he worked as Research Analyst at DTZ (Now C&W) in London. Tomasz earned his MSc in International Economics from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Finance from London Metropolitan University.

Alexander Rafajlovič has been active in the real estate market since 2004. He is an Associate in the Prague office. Alexander joined the Capital Markets team after spending 5 years in the Research department of C&W. As Head of Research for Czech Republic and Slovakia, he has provided feasibility and consultancy advice to developers, investors, tenants and landlords across all sectors of the property market including retail, office, logistics and residential. His main focus has been retail research. Alexander is member of the ICSC’s European Research Group.
Mark RobinsonCEE Research Specialist, Colliers International
22 years of equity investment, stock broking and capital markets experience in Emerging Markets. Most significant experience (15 years) is in the stock markets of Eastern Europe. 8 years as an equity fund manager specialising in Eastern Europe. 7 years as a Head of Research/Equities. More recently specialised in global cross asset allocation, including consideration of real estate. Detailed knowledge of macroeconomics in Eastern Europe and factors driving future growth and risks arising. Engaged presently to drive CEE Regional Research output and engage with internal and external clients. Most happy when generating original ideas and imparting my knowledge to others, thus learning via debate and interaction.
Lucia ŠimekováLeasing Manager, Sharow Capital
Lucia started her career in real estate in 2012 with CA Immo as a Leasing and Marketing Junior, then in the same year she was approached by Heitman on repositioning of the Bratislava office portfolio comprising of 90,000 sqm. She has overseen over 70,000 sqm of renewals and new leases and since 2016, Lucia is working with Cresco Group on leasing of UNIQ Staromestska. She is now completing a Master's degree at Reading University in Real Estate Finance and Investment.
Péter Számely MRICSHead of Real Estate Finance CEE, HYPO Niederösterreich
Mr. Számely held various positions in the property/finance market over the last 18 years including major international property consulting firms and retail developers. His education includes MKKE – Economics Budapest, an MPhil in Land Economy from Cambridge University, and an MSc in Real Estate from BKE-BME-TNTU, Budapest-Nottingham UK. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a Member of the Board at RICS Magyarország and RICS Europe.
Vladimír VaňoChief Analyst, Head of CEE Research, SBERBANK Europe AG
Vladimir Vano is alumnus of Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and Carlson School of Management. A laureate of the Rector’s Academic Award of Comenius University in Bratislava, he studied at its College of Management, and thanks to competitively won scholarships also at the College of Charleston, Georgetown and New York University. He also attended courses at Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (Russia), Sun Yat-Sen University (China) and Indian School of Business. His overseas professional experience comes from internships with economic think-tank NGO Employment Policy Foundation in Washington, D.C. and with the global headquarter of Merrill Lynch in New York City in 2001. Vladimir Vano’s experience with Central European economic development started in the nineties with Deloitte&Touche. In 1999, he entered the financial sector as research assistant to the Chief Economist of Slovak branch of ING. Upon return from New York, he became the Head of Research with Treasury Division of Slovenska sporitelna. Since 2002, he has been regular columnist on regional and global financial markets in economic and business magazine TREND. In 2011 and 2012 he served as external advisor for monetary affairs to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic. Since 2011 he is included on the list of vetted experts for public finance with the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme). Since 2007, he assumed position of the Chief Analyst of SBERBANK Slovensko and in July 2013, board of Sberbank Europe AG appointed him to serve as Head of CEE Research Competence Center. Since July 2016, he holds a position of the Chief Economist of Sberbank Europe AG in Vienna. Vladimir serves on the Committee for Macroeconomic Forecasts at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, which operates under stipulations of the “Constitutional Act on Public Debt Ceiling”. Vladimir also serves on the Board of the Pontis Foundation in Bratislava, as well as on the International Alumni Board of the WU Executive Academy in Vienna. He is regular lecturer for domestic and international universities as well as on international professional conferences.
Hamish White MRICSBusiness Development Director, REM Group
Hamish has 23 years of experience in the field of commercial real estate. He worked at Colliers International, focusing in the field of real estate investment advisory, spending 8 years with Colliers International New Zealand and 9 years with Colliers International Hungary as a Partner and Head of Investment Advisory. He has been involved in a considerable number of key investment transactions in Budapest from 2002 onwards. In 2011, he joined CIB Bank to head the Real Estate Asset Management team – managing a EUR600 million portfolio which was sold down. In 2016, he joined REM Group, one of the most experienced real estate companies operating in Hungary, as their business development director. He is currently a Board member of the Hungarian Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Otago University, New Zealand. Hamish resides in Budapest with his family.

We will send a confirmation email in the case of online registration. (The data and the "Conditions of Registration, Payment and Cancellation" have to be accepted during registration.) We will send a Fee Requesting Notice by email based on the data that are approved in the course of registration after the acceptance the "Conditions of Registration, Payment and Cancellation". The fee has to be paid within 8 workdays of the confirmation of the registration. The invoice will be issued after payment. We will post the invoice to you to the address that is given in the registration. An online application is classified as an order. Paying the participation fee in advance is a prerequisite of participating at the event. We accept cancellations and provide a full refund - EXCLUSIVELY IN WRITING at the address of email@example.com - till 12 hours on the fifth workday before the event. In the case of cancellations made after this time the participation may be assigned, but the complete fee has to be paid. We are not in a position to accept cancellations made via phone or in any other verbal form. It is not possible to cancel participation in the case of registrations that are made after the cancellation deadline. In the case of registrations made 1 or 2 workdays before the event it may happen that the transfer of the participation fee will not be credited to our bank account yet, therefore in this case it is possible to transfer the fee on the first workday after the event. Since online applications are classified as orders, we are not in a position to accept ex post complaints - including absence from the event, because of the lack of transferring the fee - after the cancellation deadline. The complete fee has to be paid in this case as well - provided no written cancellation was received by us till the cancellation deadline.
